The Multima Pro IH Multi-Unit Abutment series is precisely engineered to ensure a secure fit, long-term durability, and optimal soft tissue management. Designed for full-arch and multiple-implant restorations, these abutments feature a 2.42 mm internal hex connection, compatible with a wide range of implant systems. The defining characteristic of its straight body with a minimal height taper cone, which differs from traditional multi-units with higher and larger cones. This design significantly expands the range of restorative options for non-parallel implant restorations, allowing angulation correction of up to 60 degrees between two adjacent implants. Large platform width with a slim body - 4.6mm only, intended for aesthetic work with thin ridges, in narrow spaces, on bars, total dentures and bridges.
The series offers a variety of gingival heights - from 0.5 mm to 5.0 mm - covering virtually every option of gingival anatomy and specific prosthetic requirements. Each g/h type is colour-coded, giving a visual indication without the need to remove the abutment.
Key Features:
-
Connection Type:
Internal Hex (2.42 mm) -
Gingival Heights:
0.5 mm, 1.0 mm, 2.0 mm, 3.0 mm, 4.0 mm, 5.0 mm -
Type:
Straight Multi-Unit Abutment (MUA) -
Application:
For full-arch and multi-unit restorations -
Straight Design with Small Taper:
Converts the internal cone of the implant into an external one for stability and equal load distribution. -
Improved Angled Applications:
The small taper ensures that the titanium base fits snugly and seats fully, even when the multi-unit is placed at bigger angles, providing greater stability and passive seating. -
Simplified Workflow:
By eliminating the need for complex, angled multi-units, it simplifies the prosthetic workflow. (For “extreme” cases, can be combined with the Multima CrestFit system). -
Gingival Level Matching:
The clever design allows the multi-unit to easily match the gum level of the patient's mouth. -
Digital Integration:
Multima multi-units are part of a robust digital solutions library for prosthetic dentistry.
